Erin DeSoto Booher and Michael Booher own and operate Rising Star Gymnastics. Both are experienced coaches working with all levels of gymnasts at the gym.   Erin began gymnastics in her home town of Miami, Florida and traveled north to Indiana to attend IU.  Michael, from Nashville, IN, has a degree in Exercise Science from IU.

They met at IU Gymnastics Club then under the direction of Dr. Jim Brown.   They began their coaching career with Dr. Brown's IU children's program in 1993, while also directing the YMCA program.  Together with twelve families, they opened Rising Star in 1998.   They got married with 25 of their gymnasts standing up at their wedding on July 10, 1999.  A year later, they added Bianca to their family as well as the extended gym family!

Erin and Michael have been USAG Safety Certified Professional Members since 1997.
